We lit the tandoor at 199 W South Boulder Rd for the first time in 2018. On Thursday, October 1, 2026 we start year nine, and we are throwing a small party in the dining room to say thank you, and you are invited. No tickets, no reservation, just come in for dinner.
What is happening Thursday
- Champagne on us. A complimentary glass for every guest 21 and over, from 4:30 PM while it lasts.
- Cake cutting at 6:00 PM in the dining room. Be here a little before.
- Free Tandoori Kitchen tee. Post a photo from your visit, tag @eattandoori on Instagram or Tandoori Kitchen on Facebook, show it to us, and take a shirt home. One per guest, while they last.
- Dinner as usual, 4:30 to 9:30 PM. The whole menu is on.
Eight years in, same clay oven
A lot of you have been eating with us since the first month, and some of your kids have gone from high chairs to ordering their own vindaloo. The tandoor is the same one. The butter chicken recipe has not moved. The lassi tray still comes out five at a time. Thursday, on the way into year nine, we get to say thank you in person.
Questions we are getting
Do I need a reservation? No. Walk in any time from 4:30. If you want to be sure of a table for the 6 PM cake, arrive by 5:30.
Is the champagne really free? Yes, one glass per guest 21 and over, while it lasts. Please bring your ID, we will ask everyone.
How do I get the tee? Post any photo from your visit on Thursday, tag @eattandoori on Instagram (or Tandoori Kitchen on Facebook), and show the post to whoever is serving you. One per guest, while they last. Kids sizes are limited.
Is the party dine-in only? Yes. Online pickup runs as normal all evening at tandoorikitchenco.com/menu, but the cake and the pour are for the dining room.
