On October 1 we started year nine with a party. There was a camera in the room. We came out of it with something we did not plan on: a reality show.
It is called the real regulars of Lafayette. The cast is the people who eat here. One table has been coming for six years, which somebody on our side of the camera called a committed relationship. One guest was asked for a favorite dish and gave two answers in about three seconds. We are still looking into it.
Nobody was given a script and nobody needed one. Episode 2, the korma incident, comes out on Friday, October 16. New ones go up on Instagram and Facebook first.

Come to dinner. That is the whole process. Walk in, or book a table if you are bringing a group.
